Land Acknowledgment: Native American and Indigenous Peoples

At BIPOC Equity Agency we believe it is essential to take a moment to acknowledge the land on which we operate and create space for meaningful reflection. We recognize that our work takes place on the traditional territories of diverse Indigenous peoples who have stewarded these lands for generations past and present. We acknowledge the profound contributions and resilience of Native Nations, including, but not limited to Navajo Nation, Cherokee Nation, Choctaw Nation, Chippewa, Sioux, Blackfeet, White Mountain Apache, Muscogee Nation, Haudenosaunee Nations, Blackfeet Nation, and Osage Nation who have cared for this land, waterways, and resources since time immemorial.

Our commitment to equity, justice, and liberation is deeply rooted in the historical and ongoing struggles of marginalized communities, particularly those of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). We acknowledge the painful histories of colonization, forced displacement, and systemic oppression that have shaped the contours of our nation's narrative.

As an agency striving for transformative change, we seek to center and amplify the voices of those historically silenced, excluded, or misrepresented. We are dedicated to dismantling oppressive systems and co-creating a future that is just, inclusive, and equitable for all.

By acknowledging the land's Indigenous stewards and honoring the diverse lived experiences of our team and partners, we aim to foster a respectful and compassionate environment for dialogue, learning, and growth.

We invite all visitors to join us in acknowledging this shared history and reflecting on the ongoing responsibilities we have toward the land and its Indigenous custodians. May this acknowledgment serve as a foundation for building bridges, fostering understanding, and creating a more equitable world together.

We acknowledge that our journey toward genuine reconciliation is continuous, and we humbly recognize that words alone are not enough. Thus, we remain committed to taking meaningful actions that uplift Indigenous voices, support BIPOC communities, and advance the cause of equity and justice for everyone.

Thank you for joining us on this journey of learning, unlearning, and forging a better future together.
